Foot Wart Treatment FAQs
Everything you need to know about getting your foot warts treated in Rockwall.
Most patients do not need a referral to get started. The fastest way to get seen is to call our office or schedule online directly, and our team will guide you through the next steps based on your situation.
Swift is an advanced wart treatment that uses microwave energy to trigger your immune system to attack the HPV virus causing the wart. Unlike surface treatments that only address what you can see, Swift targets the root of the problem, which means better results and a much lower chance of the wart coming back. Our podiatrists can determine whether Swift is the right option for you at your first visit.
We work with most major insurance plans, including Medicare. Coverage can vary, so the best next step is to call our office or submit an appointment request and our team will verify your benefits and walk you through your options clearly.
We do our best to offer same-day and next-day appointments for new patients. Call us at (972) 643-8242 or schedule online and we will get you in as quickly as possible.
Plantar Wart Treatment in Rockwall — What Actually Works
Most patients who come to us for foot wart treatment in Rockwall have already tried something — salicylic acid pads from the pharmacy, freezing kits, home remedies that worked for a few weeks before the wart came back. Plantar warts are stubborn because they are not a skin problem in the ordinary sense. They are a viral infection caused by HPV that embeds beneath the surface of the foot, where pressure from walking and standing drives it deeper into the tissue. Surface treatments address what you can see, not what is causing it, which is why so many patients cycle through the same options without lasting results.
Swift wart therapy changes that approach entirely. Rather than burning or freezing the visible wart, Swift delivers precisely targeted microwave energy into the infected tissue, generating a localized heat signal that alerts the immune system to the presence of the HPV virus. The body’s own immune response then recognizes and attacks the virus at its source. Clinical studies show clearance rates above 75% after three to four sessions, with a recurrence rate below 1% — a meaningful difference from the results most patients experience with cryotherapy or acid-based treatments. At Lonestar Podiatry & Wound Care, our board-certified podiatrists evaluate each patient individually to confirm the right treatment approach and ensure you are not spending time on something that is unlikely to work for your specific situation.

Foot Wart Treatment Near Rockwall, TX — Lonestar Podiatry & Wound Care

Patients across Rockwall, Rowlett, Heath, and Fate regularly choose Lonestar Podiatry & Wound Care for foot wart treatment rather than making the drive into central Dallas, because our Rockwall clinic on Heritage Parkway offers the same specialist-level care with same-day and next-day appointments available most weeks.
Both Dr. Christian Morrison and Dr. Asif Khan are Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and hold the Certificate of Added Qualification in Amputation Prevention and Wound Care — a credential held by a small percentage of practicing podiatrists in Texas.
